Description

These collectible plates have scenes that are original copper engravings and were made in Staffordshire, England.

The smaller is 6.75" across with a scene of the ship the U.S.S. Constitution engaging Chinese Junk ships. Around the edges are renderings of New York Harbor in 1830, Canton Port in 1830, and a dove with the Stars and Stripes. 

The other plate is 10.5" across and is "The Friendship of Salem" in the middle of the plate. Around the edges are depictions of a dove with the Stars and Stripes, Canton Port in 1830, U.S. Delaware Capturing Le Croyable, and New York Harbor 1830.
